The College has a big Dining Hall, namely Sarangarh Dining Hall, which was inaugurated by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the then President of India, where over 600 students can be served meals at a time. The boarders, irrespective of caste, colour and creed, have their meals in the mess together. It provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food of high quality. It has been ensured that no mixing of meal items and utensils for serving them takes place. There are separate kitchens for cooking vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Separate utensils and dining areas are used for serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Each meal is supervised by a Mess Manager and Dining-in-teachers, who impart table manners and etiquettes to the students. The Day Scholars from Class VII and above, also have meals in the College Mess during school hours. The Day Scholars of lower classes, have the option to bring their own tiffin or dine in the College Mess against payment.
