founding fathers of the College rightly chose the, College motto as
“ Swadeshe Pujyate Raja,Vidwan Sarvatra Pujyate ” meaning
“A Raja is honored in his own country, a learned man throughout the
world”. In keeping
with the motto, the school aims to provide quality liberal education in
Humanities, Commerce and Science. Through carefully crafted
interaction and activities within and outside the classroom, we provide
experiences that help the student to discover innate capabilities, set
lifelong goals and proactively work towards their fulfillment.
College from Raipur is an outstanding example where young talents can
blossom. Raipur is the capital of the state Chhattisgarh and situated
in the heart of Chhattisgarh region on the Mumbai - Howrah main railway
line via Nagpur. It is connected to Delhi, Mumbai,
Nagpur, Bhuvneshwar, Bhopal, Indore, Ahmadabad, Hyderabad and Kolkata
with regular flights while with Banaras, Allahabad, Vishakhapatnam and
Bangalore, it is connected with regular trains. The city is famous

ABOUT Mr. JAYANT B. SINGH
He hails from the erstwhile royal family of Khairagarh and is an
alumnus of Rajkumar College, as his fore father. He has been
associated with faculty since 1978 and has been the Principal since
1995, a record of sorts.
A good orator, he excelled in debates at the school and college levels
and has displayed his theatrical skills in two Chhattisgari films. As
the Principal of Rajkumar College, he has established path breaking
innovations which have improved communication between teachers and the
taught. The international institute of Education and Management, New
Delhi acknowledged his efforts by conferring the Rajiv Gandhi
Excellence Award in 2006.
He was in the working committee of the Council for the India School
Certificate Examination, New Delhi and is currently the Senior Vice
President of Independent School Federation of India, New Delhi. He is
the Executive Committee Member of Indian Public Schools’ Conference.
